Water is one of the greatest natural recourses in the world. Without it, mankind would be non-existent. There are a few exceptions to water that can make people cringe at the site of it, one of them being water in your basement.
These photos were taken in the basement from a home that we inspected over the weekend. The utility sink appeared to have a hole in the drain where it entered the floor drain and had been causing water to pool under the flooring, and causing damage to the flooring, wall framing, and stair stringers. Most of the components in the basement were warped/swollen at floor level due to the damage.
