2. Crawlspace Ventilation: For homes with crawlspaces, installing a ventilation system can help reduce radon levels by promoting air circulation and preventing radon buildup.

3. Sealing Cracks and Openings: By sealing cracks in floors, walls, and foundations, homeowners can minimize the entry points for radon, reducing its infiltration into living spaces.

4. Air Exchangers: Heat recovery ventilators (HRVs) and energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) exchange stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air while simultaneously removing radon gas.

When selecting a radon mitigation contractor, it's essential to choose a qualified and certified professional with experience in radon mitigation. Look for contractors who are certified by the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST) to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the mitigation system.
